Thousands of participants set out in several races Sunday morning, but only a handful of runners were the ones to cross the finish line first.
Memorial Marathon
Al Maeder won the 2025 Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon men’s division, completing the 26.2-mile “Run to Remember” in 2 hours, 26 minutes, and 54 seconds.
The win is Maeder’s second after taking home first place in the 2023 Memorial Marathon. Maeder has also won the Half Marathon in 2024 and 2022.
