Yukon tornado survivor receives brand-new home from local nonprofit 7 years later

YUKON, Okla. – A Yukon woman who survived a 2019 tornado received a brand-new home from Recovering Oklahomans After Disaster, or ROAD, a local nonprofit that serves uninsured and underinsured Oklahomans after severe weather strikes.

“Oh my gosh, it’s here. I can’t believe it’s here,” Peggy Anderson exclaimed as a new mobile home turned down her street. “It’s so beautiful, isn’t it? It’s so pretty!”…
