Boley Rodeo Day brings historic first to The Cowboy Museum

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Boley Rodeo has a history dating back to 1903, and on Friday, through a partnership with The Cowboy Museum, they will do something that has never been done before.

“As far as I know, this is the first time we’ve really used Prosperity Junction in this way, where we actually turned our old west town into a specific town,” said Eric Singleton, curator with The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

It is also a first for the Boley Rodeo, having a day at the museum dedicated to the history of the rodeo…
