Nearly 180 Camp East Montana detainees in quarantine after measles exposure

In the statement, Ocaranza said that the quarantine began when 16 detainees were identified as contacts of two confirmed measles cases in Arizona. The 16 individuals were transferred to Camp East Montana before the measles cases were confirmed.

As of reporting, two groups of detainees are under quarantine:

  • 130 male detainees, with quarantine scheduled to end June 11
  • 48 female detainees, with quarantine scheduled to end June 20

According to Ocaranza, both groups are considered secondary exposures, and there are no reported symptomatic detainees.
