EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A traffic stop led to the arrest of a wanted man on Wednesday, Aug. 12, in Horizon, according to the Horizon City Police Department.
Jorge Lugo was arrested on an active warrant through the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office for accident involving damage to a vehicle with a $2,000 bond.
At around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, an HCPD Traffic Enforcement Division officer conducted a traffic stop along the 14400 block of Horizon Boulevard after seeing a truck pulling a flatbed trailer with a defective left brake light.
During the traffic stop, the officer confirmed the driver was Lugo, and a records check revealed his active warrant…
