Growing senior population in El Paso prompts new clinic to open

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) — A growth in El Paso’s senior population attracted a new, senior-focused clinic in the Lower Valley. Conviva Senior Primary Care held a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday for the new clinic on N. Loop Drive.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 19% of El Pasoans are 60 years old or older. That’s a jump from 13% in 2000.

Conviva said its North Loop clinic offers bilingual healthcare. It aims to help patients access healthy food, transportation and combat other challenges seniors face…
