SPARKS, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — An 18-year-old who was arrested in January in Sparks after he opened fire at a truck during a street fight pleaded guilty and has been sentenced.
According to court records, on July 8, Cesar Galindo pleaded guilty to deadly conduct and discharge of a firearm, and tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair an investigation, and was sentenced to six years probation with 100 hours of community service for each charge.
Court records also show that the sentence is listed as “deferred adjudication,” which the El Paso County District Attorney’s office website defines as: “a form of community supervision; the judge hears evidence of the defendant’s guilt but does not actually convict him of a crime.”…
