EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) is hoping that a new age progression image of a missing child from El Paso could help solve a case that’s over 50 years old.
NCMEC released a new photo of Joseph Hurtado, who was only 20 months old when he disappeared in El Paso’s Upper Valley. He has been missing for 52 years
Hurtado was last seen on Sept. 9, 1974, while he was playing outside his grandmother’s house, near the 800 block of Elmwood Court.
According to NCMEC, Hurtado’s mother was washing the family car in the driveway when she noticed Joseph was no longer outside. She thought she had believed he had gone inside, but the family soon realized he was missing and contacted the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office…
