EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Santa Teresa High School Band, the Diamond of the Desert, earned third place at the recent state of New Mexico competition, the high school announced.
This marks an “outstanding accomplishment that reflects the dedication, talent, and pride of our students and program,” the high school said in a social media post.
“A special recognition goes to Director McAllister for his leadership and guidance encouraging our students to perform at such a high level on the state stage. To our incredible band students, this achievement is a direct result of your hard work, discipline, and the countless hours you put in, including early morning 0-hour rehearsals.
