EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — A former El Paso Police Department officer was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after investigators linked him to a hit-and-run crash, later finding him at his residence, according to court documents obtained by KFOX14/CBS4.
29-year-old Jasson Medina Rivera, who was an EPPD officer at the time, was arrested on April 17 for DWI and was released the same day after posting a $2,500 bond.
Police said the hit-and-run crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on April 17 near Ralph Seitsinger and Mike Price. Officers later located the suspect, identified as Medina Rivera, at a residence after identifying the vehicle involved in the crash through its license plates…
