As Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 prepares to make its highly anticipated stop in North East on June 9, local officials are expanding viewing opportunities and reminding visitors to prioritize safety. North East Emergency Management announced that Carson Chesley and C & C Auctioneers have made the former Agway property at 141 South Lake Street available as an additional public viewing area for spectators.
The site will provide visitors with another location to safely watch the arrival of the historic steam locomotive as North East participates in the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary.
