(WJET/WFXP)– A Warren man is back behind bars after police said he stole a car and drove it all the way to Erie County before being caught.
According to PSP Girard, the car was stolen from Warren State Hospital by an inmate on June 16 and received word that it was driving on Interstate 79 around 9 pm that evening.

Police said they eventually found the car and followed it back onto I-79 in Millcreek Township, where the man was taken into custody without incident.
They’re now facing additional charges of receiving stolen property in Erie County, along with receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in Warren County…
