Hot air balloons filled the sky at the Robertson Athletic Complex in Meadville, for the 36th Thurston Classic.
This annual event is named after a Meadville family called the Thurstons, who were known for hot air balloons, most notably Samuel Thurston, who flew balloons for free at fairs and other events around town in the 1800’s.
