After more than four decades in business, a beloved Erie bookstore is preparing to say goodbye.

Books Galore on Peach Street will close its doors for good on July 31, 2026. The shop, founded by the late Duane Wallin, has been a longtime community staple, known for its wide selection of books, comics, games, and more.
