The Erie County District Attorney’s Office is recognizing members of the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Troop E for their exceptional investigative work in resolving a homicide case that remained unsolved for nearly 45 years.
Troopers recently received the Commissioner’s Area Command Significant Achievement Award for their efforts in advancing the investigation into the disappearance and death of Lonene Ray Rogers, a Hayfield Township, Crawford County resident who vanished in January 1981.
