PSP Looking for Public’s Help in Fatal Hit-and-Run

Pennsylvania State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the owners of two pickup trucks that may have been involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Interstate 79 last weekend.

According to State Police in Girard, troopers were dispatched around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, to the southbound lanes of I-79 near the 176-mile marker for reports of a pedestrian who had been struck in the roadway.

Investigators believe a Ford pickup truck may have hit the pedestrian and then left the scene. Police are trying to identify the owners of two pickup trucks that were seen entering I-79 southbound around the time of the crash…
