Marching bands, decorated floats, emergency vehicles and community organizations made their way through downtown North East during what’s billed as Pennsylvania’s largest fireman’s parade.
The annual event highlighted local first responders while bringing together residents and visitors for one of the Cherry Festival’s signature attractions.
“Well even before I got into the fire department, it was always a thing we came down and watched the parade. You know, it’s a great way for the volunteer firemen to show off the equipment and the community support has paid for every year.
