Lawrence Park police and firefighters responded around 5:10 p.m. Sunday after a body was discovered in the waters of Lake Erie near the Lawrence Park Fishing Club off East Lake Road.
The discovery was made by some jet skiers in an area along the shoreline near the Lawrence Park Golf Club and the former GE Picnic Grove. Erie County dispatchers confirmed that the Erie County Coroner was called to the scene.
