The Erie community came together in a big way for animals in need during the annual Cause for Paws Radiothon on Happi 927.
The 12-hour fundraiser brought in $8,068.66, along with a truckload of donated pet supplies, including food, treats, and toys. Contributions from residents and local businesses will benefit nine area animal shelters, helping them continue to care for homeless and rescued pets.
