A Waterford man is facing numerous charges after allegedly leading Pennsylvania State Police on a pursuit through Waterford Borough before escaping into a wooded area.
According to a Pennsylvania State Police, troopers attempted to stop a red dirt bike being operated by Austin Ramirez, 30, of Waterford, for traffic violations on Walnut Street at approximately 9:11 p.m. on July 23.
Police said Ramirez failed to stop and fled, prompting a pursuit through the borough. The chase lasted approximately two minutes and covered about 2.1 miles before troopers terminated the pursuit when the dirt bike entered a wooded area…
