Two young men laced up their running shoes Monday morning to complete a marathon through Edinboro in memory of a close friend and former classmate, continuing a tradition that has become deeply meaningful over the past five years.
Aiden Seeman and Alec Eisert have run the 26.2-mile route together every year since 2021, when they lost their friend, Elise, to complications from a brain aneurysm. This year’s run marked the fifth anniversary of her passing on July 27.
