The Erie County Haz-Mat Team responded early Tuesday morning to a corrosive chemical leak in Edinboro.
According to Erie County Emergency Management Coordinator Brian Mesaros, crews were dispatched to the 1000 block of Marketplace Drive, just off of the I-79 Edinboro exit.
Calls initially were for a tanker truck leaking gasoline in the parking lot of Comfort Suites, but they quickly came to learn that it wasn’t fuel that the tanker was carrying, but a caustic waste product…
