No accumulation is expected, since the showers should be light and the ground is still warm.
Strong Cold Blast Arrives Friday Night
A sharp drop in temperatures is expected as cold air pours into the region Friday night. Guidance that once seemed too aggressive has kept showing the cold air, raising confidence in the forecast.

Future radar for Saturday morning shows snow showers across northwest Pennsylvania near Erie, Meadville, and Franklin. Snow showers are also shown near St. Marys and Punxsutawney in the north-central part of the state.
The snow showers extend into western New York near Buffalo and across central New York near Syracuse, Utica, and Rome. A few showers may also reach areas near Oneonta and the Catskills.
Highs Stuck in the 40s and 50s
Highs Saturday are forecast to reach only the 40s and 50s for most locations. That would be a big change from the warm conditions many areas have had this month…
