Man arrested for stalking after putting tracking device on car: Police

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A New York man in Chautauqua County was recently arrested for fourth-degree stalking after he allegedly put a tracking device on a victim’s vehicle, New York State Police announced.

According to police, troopers responded to a possible stalking incident in Westfield last Sunday. A 28-year-old victim had located a Tracki Model TRKM 110-T on their vehicle which was then taken into evidence.

Account details came back to Robert Spoon, 46, of Westfield after a subpoena was issued for the device. Spoon was arrested and transported to Cattaraugus County Jail.

An order of protection was issued.
