(WJET/WFXP)– City of Jamestown, New York, police are investigating after a stabbing victim who was flown to Erie earlier this week died from their injuries.
According to Jamestown police, the stabbing happened on Sunday, May 3, around 4:30 a.m. on the city’s east side near Lakeview Avenue and East 3rd Street.

Police said by the time they arrived, the victim, who is not being identified by police, was not responsive and was taken to UPMC Chautauqua and later flown to UPMC Hamot with what they called life-threatening injuries.
The victim later succumbed to those injuries on Wednesday, May 6, and investigators are still looking into the killing adding they’re releasing the victim’s name at a later day…
