On Saturday at 9:28 a.m. the National Weather Service released a wind advisory in effect until Sunday at 2 a.m. for Chautauqua County.
The weather service informs, “Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 50 to 55 mph.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few isolated power outages may result. The southeast winds will be a crosswind on the New York State Thruway for high profile vehicles,” says the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
