SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Springfield Utility Board’s Light of Liberty celebration returns for its 20th year with the biggest fireworks show in the event’s history to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
According to Springfield Utility Board, Satin Love Orchestra will headline the July 4 celebration at Island Park. The 12-piece band will perform disco classics, rock anthems and soulful favorites. Shelley James & Agents of Unity will open the show with American rock classics spanning six decades.
Gates open at 4 p.m. Agents of Unity performs from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by Satin Love Orchestra from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The fireworks show starts at 10 p.m. and will be synchronized to music over the Willamette River…
