Oregon — The 4th of July holiday is just around the corner, and with the celebration of the U.S.A.’s independence comes the holiday’s trademark fireworks. Whether or not you can set off your own fireworks not, however, will largely depend on where you live, as different cities and counties can have their own restrictions separate from Oregon state law.
The state of Oregon as a whole permits the sale of retail fireworks from June 23rd until July 6th, and any firework legally sold within the state is generally legal for use.
Legal fireworks in Oregon, according to the Oregon government website, include but are not limited to novelty devices, wheels, flitter sparklers, fountains, smoke devices, and ground spinners.
