Blackberry Jam Fest returns to Lowell with music and family fun

LOWELL, Ore. – The Blackberry Jam Festival returned to Lowell this weekend, bringing the community together with live music, food, vendors and family fun.

The Blackberry Jam Fest originally started as a music jam. The festival wasn’t necessarily about blackberries, but because the fruit was well-loved in the community, it became part of the event.

A caboose that has been standing for almost 100 years with an original preserved interior is also a well-loved attraction for the festival. It is only open to the public for certain parts of the year…
