EUGENE, Ore. – Police arrested a woman for driving under the influence after she ran a red light and was caught speeding nearly 20 miles over the limit, according to the Eugene Police Department.
EPD officials said that officers pulled over Ginger Lynn Richcreek, 28, of Veneta, at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 2 after watching her run a red light at West 6th Avenue and Garfield Street. Police followed her onto Highway 99 North, where she was traveling nearly 20 miles over the posted speed limit. During the traffic stop, Richcreek could not provide registration or insurance for the car. She showed officers a North Carolina driver’s license. Richcreek told police she had been drinking alcohol earlier in the evening and using cannabis.
