LaRue Zamorano Set for Return Visit to Oregon

Oregon is still looking for their first defensive commitment in the 2025 recruiting class and they’ll bring in one of the top corners out West for a visit in the near future.

Corona (Calif.) Centennial cornerback LaRue Zamorano is set to take a trip to Eugene on February 3 for one of Oregon’s two Junior Days and spoke with Ducks Digest about the latest in his recruitment.

“I want to take this trip to Oregon because Oregon has always been a dream school of mine since I was young,” he said. “I have a close relationship with the staff. The defensive coordinator just came to my school today to talk to me personally. They treat me like family, so I plan on taking a trip up there very soon.”

Tosh Lupoi has been long been one of the best recruiters in the country and the 6-foot-2, 180-pound defensive back discussed his visit to his school.

“It was going good. He was telling me about how they’re highly recruiting me right now because word got around that Coach Meat left and went to Michigan State. So he was like they’re still heavily recruiting me. They would love for me to join their fam. Asking me how I was doing as a person, asking me how my family’s doing. Just checking up on me.”
