‘College GameDay’ Announces Official Week 7 Location

“College GameDay visited Berkley, California, for the California Golden Bears’ home game against the Miami Hurricanes in Week 6. It was an electric atmosphere that featured hilarious antics from Pat McAfee and former Cal running back Marshawn Lynch as the guest picker.

The popular pre-game show for college football has captivated fans since 1987. But the broadcast took on a new level of fandom when Lee Corso first put on a mascot head in 1996.

Heading into Week 7, “College GameDay” has several enticing options, especially with the Red River Rivalry between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners playing each other on Oct. 12.

But the popular ESPN show decided to go a different route. They posted on social media that “College GameDay” will officially be in Eugene, Oregon, for the massive Big Ten matchup between the Oregon Ducks and Ohio State Buckeyes.

It should be a fun time in Eugene for the “College GameDay” crew. McAfee has proven to help create an electric atmosphere with his crowd work and we should expect the same in Week 7.
