Dan Lanning met with reporters Tuesday following Oregon’s latest spring practice, marking the first time the Ducks’ head coach has spoken publicly since reviewing the film from Saturday’s first spring scrimmage.
His early takeaway was straightforward: Oregon used Tuesday’s workout to directly attack the issues that showed up on tape.
“All right, some good competitive drills today, really attacking some of the things that we wanted to improve on from the scrimmage,” Lanning said. “We had some good tempo periods and some game-on-the-line periods. We incorporated a long-drive period where our guys had to stay out on the field for a long time and execute. So all those things showed up. Certainly some growth we saw within the week.”…
