Springfield principal on leave amid bullying lawsuit allegations

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – A Springfield middle school principal has been on administrative leave since September as the district fights a federal lawsuit claiming a student faced years of relentless bullying and sexual harassment without proper intervention.

District spokesperson Brian Richardson confirmed Monday that Kevin Wright remains a district employee but declined to say if his leave is connected to the lawsuit.
