After 47 years of service to the Springfield community, Brian Conlon is retiring as the Development and Public Works Department’s Operations Division Director. Brian joined the City in May 1979 as an operations and maintenance field worker and quickly became a vital team member. He was promoted to team supervisor in 1988, Maintenance Manager in 2007, and Division Director in 2019.
Impact on Community
Brian managed the entire Operations program, spanning facilities, subsurface collection systems, streets, and traffic operations.
