EUGENE, Ore. – A store employee was stabbed inside a Safeway on East 18th Avenue on Thursday afternoon, according to the Eugene Police Deparment.
EPD officials said they responded on April 23 to the store at 145 E. 18th Avenue at 3:52 p.m. The victim, a man in his 40s, told police a man he didn’t know stabbed him inside the store. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. People who called 911 gave officers a description of the suspect and told them which way he went.
