EUGENE, Ore. – A section of the Alton Baker bike path will be closed Friday, May 1, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for tree work.
According to the City of Eugene Parks and Open Space, the path between Frohnmayer Bridge and Day Island Road will be shut down. Detour signs will be in place to guide people around the closure. Path users should continue on Day Island Road upstream to where it meets the Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path. The city is asking community members to use alternate routes during the work…
