EUGENE, Ore. – Market of Choice is recalling its Vegan Kale Caesar Salad because the label doesn’t list sesame as an ingredient, which could cause serious or life-threatening reactions for people with sesame allergies.
The recall affects 9.5-ounce salads with expiration dates from April 20 through May 8. The salads come in clear plastic clamshell containers with the UPC code 0 2100126 01099 3.
Market of Choice sold the affected salads at its stores in Ashland, Bend, Corvallis, Eugene, Hillsboro, Medford, Portland and West Linn between April 16 and May 4.
