A new trail system will bring hikers to the iconic but troubled Blue Pool beginning in 2027.
A parking lot for 100 cars is under construction, along with a 2-mile trail that will take hikers past views of the McKenzie River before arriving at the shimmering volcanic pool also known as Tamolitch Falls east of Eugene.
