SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Springfield police caught a man accused of stabbing someone during a fight over property, leaving the victim with a large chest wound that needed 62 stitches.
According to the Springfield Police Department, officers first learned about the stabbing on May 3 when someone dropped the victim off at Riverbend Hospital with multiple stab wounds. Officers found out the injuries happened during a dispute in the 2800 block of El Toro Court.
