With everything getting more expensive, wouldn’t it be nice to have your mortgage covered for a year? One Eugene elementary school teacher’s commitment to keeping school fun has given her just that.
Ashley Reich, a fourth-grade teacher at Bertha Holt Elementary School in Eugene School District 4J, was named K-5 Educator of the Year by OnPoint Community Credit Union. OnPoint will reward Reich’s dedication to education by paying her mortgage for the next year. She also will receive an additional $2,500 that she can use in her classroom.
“It’s really just a life-changing amount of money, honestly,” Reich said. “It’ll just make life a little bit easier this next year.”…
