Indiana couple sentenced for intimidation with deadly weapon

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Two people have been sentenced in relation to an intimidation case.

Court documents say on May 28, in the Spencer County Circuit Court, Adrian R. Myers, 31, pled guilty to Aiding, Inducing or Causing Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon. On February 19, Carl F. Young, 59, was sentenced for the offense of Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon.

Officials with the Spencer County Prosecutor’s Office say the married couple from Huntingburg began planning to intimidate the victim in July 2025 after Myers interacted with a person facing narcotic-related charges who was detained in the Dubois County Jail. Authorities say as a result of that conversation, Young and Myers traveled to Birdseye and got the victim into their vehicle claiming they needed the victim’s help in getting car parts at an Evansville salvage yard.
