EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Police have arrested an Evansville man on drug charges, as well as resisting police.
EPD says this all started just after 4:30 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of NW Fourth Street. An officer saw a man, later identified as 24-year-old Jamesley Desulme, fail to cross the street at a 90-degree angle in the area of NW Fourth Street and Ingle Street. That is a city of Evansville ordinance violation.
The officer activated his emergency lights, but Desulme did not stop. Instead, he looked at the officer and kept walking. The officer then pulled up beside him and observed him reach towards his waistline…
