EVANSVILLE — Governor Mike Braun today toured Carver Community Organization’s childcare facility in Evansville and continued a series of discussions with providers about strengthening early childhood learning in Indiana.
Governor Braun met with Carver Community Organization Executive Director Deiona Clayton, toured the center, and discussed kindergarten readiness, access to high-quality programs, and the challenges facing early childhood educators and providers.
“Early childhood learning gives children the foundation they need to succeed in school and throughout their lives. At Carver, we saw how a strong local program can prepare children for kindergarten while supporting the working families who depend on it,” said Governor Mike Braun.
