HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) – An inmate who escaped from the Henderson County Detention Center on a bicycle last fall has been sentenced to an additional 10 years in prison.
According to Henderson County Commonwealth’s Attorney Herbert McKee Jr., Timothy Oliver pled guilty and was sentenced on Monday.
Oliver’s new 10-year sentence will run consecutively to the 10-year sentence he was already serving, bringing his total prison sentence to 20 years. He pled guilty to second-degree escape, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, and theft by unlawful taking of a bicycle…
