EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Officials gave an update on the I-69 Ohio River Crossing construction progress in their August 2026 Quarterly Connection release.
According to the release, the approach work in Evansville is 85% complete and is scheduled to be completed later this year.
They say the road and bridges built now will give all-weather access to build the bridge.
The public will start using the new roads and bridges when the bridge opens to traffic in 2031…
