Evansville’s New Graffiti Wall Has Hit a Snag

Evansville artists hoping to leave their mark on the city’s new legal graffiti wall will have to wait a little longer.

The Artist Avenue Graffiti Wall launch event, originally planned for Saturday, August 15, has been canceled after organizers learned the necessary permissions for the project would not be in place in time.

The news comes after considerable excitement surrounding the project, which was intended to give local artists a space where they could legally create graffiti and street art.
