HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A man has been arrested after a biker suffered a severe leg injury in a crash.
According to the Evansville Police Department (EPD), officers were dispatched to the intersection of North First Avenue and Uhlhorn Street at just before 8:20 p.m. on August 11 in reference to a vehicle accident with injuries.

Officials say multiple 911 calls were received reporting a serious injury crash between a black SUV and a motorcycle. According to EPD, the motorcycle rider reportedly had a severe injury to their leg. Emergency personnel arrived and the injured motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities say the driver of the SUV, Justin M. Walker, 38, showed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking before the crash.

Police say Walker submitted to Standard Field Sobriety Testing and Portable Breath Testing which both indicated he was under the influence. An affadavit notes his BAC was 0.12.
