MOUNT VERNON, Ind. (WFIE) – Crews are at the scene of an active water rescue on the Ohio River in Mount Vernon.
Posey County Dispatch confirms the 911 call came in just after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Emergency crews are working at the Mount Vernon Boat Club boat ramp off of Canal Street. Officials are asking the public to avoid the area while the situation continues.
