‘You might have to take me to jail’: Police say man made threats after dispute over PS5

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville police say they arrested a man for intimidation after he made threats of violence following a dispute over a PlayStation 5.

On Saturday, officers were dispatched to Devonshire Place to take a theft report.

Police say the 911 caller, Juan Bailey, said his roommate stole his PlayStation 5. Before officers arrived, Bailey reportedly called dispatch again and said he was ready to “do something bad.”

When officers arrived, Bailey reportedly told them he was upset because his roommate sold his PlayStation. Bailey told officers that both he and his roommate had put money toward the console. Bailey’s roommate also told officers that the console belonged to him, not Bailey…
